Industry Experience

Edible Oils and Fats Refining and Modification
Our core expertise spans both conventional and modern processing stages within state-of-the-art edible oils and fats refining and modification sections.
Our work has included process engineering design and support for plant and equipment projects that use world‑class technologies to process commodity oils such as soybean, palm, corn, sunflower, and tallow, as well as specialty oils and fats including cocoa butter, olive oil, palm kernel oil, and omega‑3 fish oil.
Applications of processed oils have included edible uses, biodiesel and oleochemicals, and nutraceutical/pharmaceutical products.
Oleochemicals, HVO and Biodiesel
We have participated in process engineering for feasibility studies for Renewable Diesel/HVO and Biodiesel Production, and Oleochemical Processes like Glycerol Recovery and Purification, Fat Splitting, Free Fatty Acids Distillation, and other processes.
Bioethanol and Biobased Chemicals
We have worked on process engineering for feasibility studies for industrial projects producing bioethanol from grain and sugarcane, and on technologies for manufacturing biocommodities such as amino acids, polysaccharides, polymers, and triglycerides at industrial scale. Our experience also has included biorefinery concepts and the use of industrial by‑products and cellulosic materials as alternative feedstocks.
Edible Oil Extraction
Our background has included several solvent‑extraction units (soybean and sunflower oil), where we have provided on‑site technical support to optimize plant performance and have supported commissioning activities for new or revamped facilities.
We have developed and sized a water‑evaporator system for a zero‑effluent project in a solvent‑extraction plant.
We have also participated in the commissioning of a new turn‑key olive mill with a three‑phase mechanical separation process.
Water Treatment
We have contibuted in feasibility studies of industrial and municipal projects for waste water treatment in physico-chemical, biological and tertiary treatments. In the upstream side, we also worked in industrial and municipal projects for treatment and disinfection of raw waters.
Beverages
We have worked in process engineering and on-site technical assistance of a new fully automated soft drink syrup unit with high hygienic standards.
We have worked in feasibility studies of equipment update projects for the brewing industry.
Chemicals
We have participated in feasibility studies for the production of sulfuric acid, surfactants, and other chemical products, along with the specification of chemical dosing and handling systems across a wide range of industries.
Oil and Gas
We have contributed to the process engineering of natural gas compression and treatment plants.
